Final chapter
We´ve followed Juan García Madero, Los detectives salvajes, principal character in the first chapter of the novel: Mexicans Lost in Mexico.. We´ve also followed the journey of a teenage poet that drops out from law school to give himself to the streets of Mexico City: the present and the adventure; the exploration of his own desire. Afterwards, we´ve accompanied his escape to the desert, his disappearance, third and final chapter of the novel: The Deserts of Sonora.
Somehow, this triptych project works as the sequel of a fragmented narration; a story about the wild desire of living that has conducted us to the path of fiction and that finally leaves us to be lost, from Mexico City to the desert of Sonora.
The glare, that's what we´ve come to look for. To disappear, to dissolve ourselves, to distill our existence.
