Searching Journeys
Closeness and constant accompaniment to the forensic teams and to the civil organizations that work on enforced disappearance and mass graves, have been the key to my research on these topics in each territory.
One of my principal goals in Latin America is to track violent events or contexts and to capture the memories attached to them; aiming to decode the different mechanisms of these violences, moreover, the resistance ones.
Choosing a local context to embrace a global one: a shared history in which timelines and territories gather. To shape the enforced disappearance, to bring to the surface the recent past and bond it with the present through temporal and geographical transversalities.
